If you are cited for a traffic infraction or arrested for a DUI or other criminal offense you case will be heard in one of the six Alameda County courthouses depending upon the city in which you were arrested.
Traffic, DUI and misdemeanor and pre-trial felony criminal cases from the cities of Albany, Berkeley, Emeryville, Oakland and Piedmont, and the University of California Berkeley, will be heard at the Wiley W. Manuel Hall of Justice located at 661 Washington Street in Oakland.
Trials on felony matter originating in those cities will be heard at the Rene C. Davidson Courthouse located at 1225 Fallon Street in Oakland.
Cases on the island of Alameda are heard at the George E. McDonald Hall of Justice.
Fremont, Newark and Union City criminal cases are handled out of the Fremont Hall of Justice at 39439 Paseo Padre Parkway in Fremont.
DUI, traffic and criminal cases heard at the Hayward Hall of Justice located at 24405 Amador Street in Hayward, come from the cities of Hayward, San Leandro and San Lorenzo.
People arrested or cited in Dublin, Pleasanton and Livermore will have their cases heard at the Gale/Schenone Hall of Justice located at 5672 Stoneride Drive in Pleasanton.
